Trinidad is a coastal town in the northernmost reaches of California. Despite the temperate conditions, this home is situated right off of the coast and is subject to extreme weather and conditions. “The spiral staircase was a whole thing from day one. When you walk into this house, you're going to have your impression of the glass and the huge expansive view of the ocean. You don't want a monstrosity competing with that—it needs to be a piece of art. Joey's team delivered exactly that.”

Floradock Home

A Home for Nomads

To accommodate their full time bus living, our clients contracted us to build a home around their 40’ tour bus to create a light filled greenhouse which doubles as a home garage when they’re not on the road. This unique design incorporates greenery in the living space to create a passive and efficient environment that is low maintenance and highly practical.

Interior of a house with a vintage bus and a car, colorful geometric wall decor, and eclectic furniture.

Arcata, California

This unique home was born out of the client’s desire to continue living in their tour bus full time even when they were stationary. The steep shed roofline and 30’ tall garage door creates a space for their bus and expands upon the amenities they have on the bus including a greenhouse living area, bathroom, and kitchen. This project shows the possibilities of custom home building’'s potential to enhance and ameliorate unique lifestyles and needs.
